My background is over 30 years in church leadership & 30 years in social work with M.Div. and M.S.W. degrees - and yes, I do enjoy retirement. My heart is in teaching. We humans often try to make plans for our day or for our lives without considering what God’s plans may be. Religious leaders and the people in the time of Jesus had their ideas of what the Messiah should be like. However, God had other plans . . . .
